At the Forum on Law, Culture & Society, we believe that the arts can be a catalyst for conversation and a powerful tool for social change. Through film screenings, play readings, and discussions with artists, writers, and government leaders, we engage with the big questions of our day and we hope you’ll join us!

Events are in the Works!

Our events explore legal and social justice themes in many ways, on many stages. Read about our signature events—Conversations, Film Series, and Trials & Error—and then come see them for yourself!

Past Events

Since our founding in 2005, FOLCS has hosted our International Short Film Competition, Theater of Law, Law of the Land and an impressive array of artists, actors, directors, public intellectuals -even a former United States President and sitting Justices on the Supreme Court – government leaders, and writers on our stage.
