Francis Ford Coppola’s masterpiece, and one of the iconic movies in the history of feature film, The Godfather, tells the generational saga of an organized crime family, which involves family loyalty, murder, betrayal, and vengeance. The movie stars Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone and Al Pacino as Vito’s youngest son, Michael Corleone. Taking place in New York in the 1940s, The Godfather is one of the most popular movies in American cinema and has received three Academy Awards.
