On February 2, 2022, FOLCS was proud to partner with Netflix to host a Conversation with Margarita Levieva, who stars in the newly released spy series In From the Cold, and showrunner/creator Adam Glass.

During a European vacation with her daughter, an American single mom’s life is turned upside down when the CIA forces her to confront her long-buried past as a Russian spy who was also the product of a highly classified KGB experiment granting her special abilities. After a mysterious string of manic and murderous incidents suggests someone with her exact abilities is targeting innocent people, Jenny (Margarita Levieva) is forced out of hiding to stop this villain or risk losing the family and new life she has built.

Margarita Levieva can most recently be seen starring in Netflix’s In From the Cold, the critically acclaimed David Simon HBO show The Deuce, opposite James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal and in the independent film Inherit The Viper opposite Josh Hartnett and Bruce Dern and directed by Anthony Jergen.
Margarita’s past film credits include: The Diary Of A Teenage Girl directed by Marielle Heller, Sleeping With Other People directed by Leslye Headland, James White directed by Josh Mond, For Ellen directed by So Yong Kim, The Lincoln Lawyer directed by Brad Furman and opposite Matthew McConaughey, and Spread directed by David MacKenzie. Margarita’s past theater credits include: Impressionism at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre opposite Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen and The Retributionists at Playwright Horizons opposite Adam Driver.
Margarita was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia where she trained as a dancer and gymnast. She immigrated with her mother to Brooklyn, New York at the age of 11. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics at NYU and completed the Meisner Training Program at the William Esper Studio in New York. As well as being an actress, she is an artist, and a professionally- trained dancer.

Though NYC will always be home, Adam resides in Los Angeles. He is a TV Writer/Executive Producer of such shows as Supernatural, Cold Case, Criminal Minds, The Chi, and Barksins.
When Adam is not writing for TV or films, he’s writing graphic novels for Marvel Comics. Deadpool Suicide Kings and DC Comics’ Suicide Squad 1 & 2 were all New York Times Bestsellers, and introduced Harley Quinn to the team. Also making the list was his recent critically acclaimed two-year run-on, DC Comics’ Teen Titans. Adam has a foot in the independent market as well, with creator-owned titles from Aftershock Comics such as Rough Riders, The Normals, Lollipop Kids, and Mary Shelley Monster Hunter, which is being developed by BBC Studios.
Adam is the Creator and Showrunner of a new series he created called In From the Cold, currently playing on Netflix.
